Illustration Tool Upgrade: Generate From Mask

The Pro version of the Children Book Maker includes a Generate From Mask tool that you can use to create new images using an existing image of a character, This can be used to have a consistent character in different scenes with different backgrounds. A mask image can also be placed on the character (i.e. a hat or mask).

To use this tool, access your dashboard and scroll down to the Illustration Tool Upgrade section then click on Generate From Mask:

The base image for your character needs to be a a PNG file with a transparent background for the AI to process. It MUST also first be cropped to be a perfect square before uploading it.

Adding a mask image is optional.

Click Choose File.

Select the base file of your character and click Open.


For this example, I am using the following PNG image:

Next, write a prompt describing the scene for your base image. In this example, I'll use the prompt "standing in front of a scary castle" and enter a number of images then click Generate.
